A phone, a backup hard drive, an SSD and a camera are plugged into a laptop in turn. Exorf on its screen adds each one's photos to the gallery and keeps the source listed, marked, when it is unplugged. Sample library.
Exorf shows the photos and videos on your Mac, drives, iPhone and camera as one gallery. Plug a drive in or pull it out; nothing is imported, copied or moved.
macOS 14 or later · Free for 1,000 items and 2 sources · Pay once, no subscription · Sample library shown
Exorf reads your folders, drives and iPhone where they are. It keeps a catalog and small previews on your Mac, so an unplugged drive stays browsable. Originals are never moved, copied or changed.
Type a place, a camera, a month or a year, in English or Turkish. The gallery narrows with every word.

No. Exorf reads your folders and drives where they are. It keeps its own catalog and small previews in its app data on your Mac, and never edits an original. Rotating a photo in Exorf changes the view, not the file.
The drive stays in the sidebar, marked as disconnected, and its previews stay in the catalog. Turn on the switch in the toolbar to keep its photos in All media. Plug it back in to open the originals.
Connect it with a cable, unlock it and trust the Mac. Exorf reads it through macOS Image Capture and prepares previews as you browse. iPhone videos show a still preview for now, and photos kept only in iCloud may not appear.
All media shows it once. Exorf matches copies by their content, or by size, capture time and dimensions until that is ready, and shows the copy on a connected drive. Each source's own view still lists everything in it.
Yes. Right-click a source in the sidebar to put a .exorf shortcut on the desktop; opening it takes you to that source. The shortcut holds no folder path or access rights.
Words from file names and camera details, places, and dates such as a month or a year, in English or Turkish. Each word narrows the gallery further.
From the location your iPhone or camera recorded in each photo or video. Items without one simply don't appear on the map.
The whole app, for up to 1,000 items from two sources. A source is a folder, a disk or an iPhone you add. There is no time limit and no account.
Both remove the limits and are paid once. Standard is for one Mac and includes two years of updates; your version keeps working after that. Plus is for up to three Macs at a time and includes every future update.
Your license key appears on the page after you pay and arrives by email. Open Exorf, choose Preferences › License and paste it, or click Open in Exorf in the email.

Exorf checks for a new version when it opens and once a day. When one is ready, Update Available appears at the bottom of the sidebar; click it and Exorf downloads the update, installs it and restarts. You can turn automatic checks off in Preferences › General.
